HISTORY

Name: (Withania somnifera) is an herb that has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic medicine.

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving 50 participants found that ashwagandha supplementation improved cognitive function and reaction time.

Physical Performance

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving 57 participants found that ashwagandha supplementation improved cardiorespiratory endurance and muscle strength.
